Mike Johnson Hickory Toyota has awesome employees that are always focused on excellent customer service. Brittany was extremely helpful in making sure we were taken care of during our visit to purchase 4 new Michelin tires and alignment. We will continue to make the 55 minute drive to purchase our vehicles and getting them serviced in Hickory. If you want the BEST make the drive!

I highly recommend Mike Johnson's Hickory Toyota for the kindness and support they showed me during my car-buying experience. As a first-time buyer purchasing a car on my own, I was feeling very nervous and overwhelmed at first. After speaking with Andy Lowhon, the GM, over the phone and explaining my situation, he immediately made me feel heard and comfortable. Andy and Saul, my sales representative, treated me with patience, understanding, and genuine care throughout the entire process. Thanks to them, what started as a stressful and scary experience quickly turned into an exciting and happy one. I’m now driving a brand new '26 Toyota Camry, and I’m incredibly grateful for how smoothly everything went. Just recently purchased a car from Mike Johnson Toyota in Hickory. Chase Hollar was my salesman and he was incredible. He worked with me to get the many options I asked for and went above and beyond to obtain this vehicle. His communication skills were top notch always responding quickly. I am a tough negotiator and he was very patient and kind with me. He made it a very smooth transaction with no added pressure. Joe, in finance, was awesome and took time to fully explain all the extended warranties to protect my new purchase and long term investment. He is extremely efficient and had me in and out in no time. So happy with my purchase and look forward to my future relationship with this dealership.

First, I just want to take a moment to brag on Mr. Nathaniel Rogers, service director at Mike Johnson Hickory Toyota, who delivers to his customers what I refer to as, Chick-Fil A customer service; I think it safe to say that not many fast-food restaurants come close to exemplifying such exceptional customer satisfactory! Nathaniel is an honest man with good candor and integrity. His pragmatic approach allows very little room for biased decisions when dealing with complex situations. Throughout my service experience, he was very informative (keeping me updated and in the loop) responsive, and punctual. I felt heard, understood, and like a part of his Toyota family! I have been a proud Toyota owner for almost 20 years now; I’ve visited many other Toyota dealerships from Statesville to Charlotte. However, for the past 4 years, Mike Johnson has exceeded my expectations! The staff are always kind, and the waiting area is always clean and feels very warm and inviting. The environment makes the wait not feel daunting. Taking your car in for service can be a bit stressful at times, especially when the technicians come to you at every visit with a long list of needed services, with a few that you kindly decline, only to have them come back a second time with an additional service that you need, causing you to feel pressured and overwhelmed. I have never felt that way at Mike Johnson Toyota, I don’t feel like I’m being bamboozled, I know that I can trust that if my tech. I will continue to return for services and will continue referring family and friends for any auto needs! A huge thanks to Andy, Nathaniel, and all staff at Mike Johnson Hickory Toyota, for always going above and beyond to make their customers feel appreciated!

It's always a pleasurable experience having my Land Cruiser serviced at MJHT. Brittany, my service advisor, provides top-notch customer service and is always super helpful; she is pleasant to deal with and is always smiling. During my last visit, I also had new tires installed following a lift they had installed during a previous visit (also a positive experience); Christian and Arley were both super helpful in helping me figure out the largest size that would fit without modifications. When at the dealership, Christian and Brittany eased my worries about fitment by taking me into the service bay for a test fit to ease my mind. After install, I could not have been happier with the result. I had them save one of my older A/T tires to replace the spare, which was not A/T; the technician, Fue, performing that service was super friendly, attentive, and professional; the aforementioned MJHT team members also share these qualities. Top notch service all around!

I was exceptually pleased with the service that I received at the Toyota Express Shop located up the hill behind Mike Johnson's Hickory Toyota yesterday. I didn't even know that it existed! There needs to be a bigger sign and more advertisement for the Express Shop! For future car needs, I will always use the Express Shop! Caleigh Ward is soooo awesome!!!! She answered all my questions thoroughly and assisted with a situation that I had with a smile. Toyota needs more people like Caleigh!

I have a 4Runner with the tire easy care and it’s amazing I was so worried about having to pay a lot for a tow because I had a flat tire but they were able to tow my car with no cost, their cars are great and all the employees there are very nice and professional

Recently my car needed some repairs and as always I call Lorie Horton who is responds immediately and explains all that needs to be done. It is obvious that she is an experienced employee and knows how to get the work accomplished correctly and timely ! I will continue to ask for Lorie in my future needs

Okay so this is my story. Last Saturday afternoon Saturday May 2nd to be exact I went to Mike Johnson's Toyota found a truck I really liked. So after wheeling and dealing about 8:30 Saturday evening I got the truck. It's a great truck, nothing wrong with the truck this is where the Story begins after about several hours of willing and dealing and we got the contract and we got it signed and we were in agreement with what the payments were and I was happy with everything. Then Monday comes, and I get a call from the accounting office telling me that I need to come back down that there were some paperwork that didn't get signed, not knowing that they had created a whole new contract all because of the financial situation. I was set up for 84 months at $569.33 but in order for me to keep that contract I had to come up with another $1,000 on top of the 5000 that I gave now to you A lot of people 5000 may not be a lot of money but for me one income $5,000 is an awful lot of money so anyway as The Story Goes I had to come up with another $1,000 in order to keep the payments the same or take over almost $100extra on payments. Which is really sad because they already had a bonding contract but I guess that Mike Johnson's Accounting Office The Binding contact doesn't really mean anything until they are in agreement with what is going on after being up there Monday I was ready for them to take the truck back and give me my other truck back and I would have paid the difference just for driving it for 3 days. They said it was due to the bank got a better rate but now my payments are reduced to 72 months and I'm paying on it at a higher interest rate. I don't believe that's fair I believe that's screwing the pooch. And if this is the way that a big company such as Mike Johnson's Toyota of Hickory does business then I will probably never buy another vehicle from them nor will I refer anybody else to them I would like to apologize to Mike Johnson's Toyota, as I posted in my previous statement that I would never refer to anybody to Mike Johnson's Toyota and I stand corrected I would gladly send anybody that direction. They have truly truly help me resolved the situation. Thank each and every one of you for the input. Sincerely Rickey Ruffner
